I have a 55hp model 559hh chrysler approxematly 1977 year which i have pulled down to find a knocking noise which turned out to be piston slap, as the piston clearance is running between 8thou and 16thou which is way to much to my understanding. But i have decided to re assemble the engine as it is not worth spending money for new pistons and reboring on such an old engine. My question is can any one tell me the toque settings for the Head, big ends, and crank case studs. <br />And does any one know what the piston clearance should be.
