I have a 1976 55hp johnson and i wanna set time do i need special timing light i have one for a 4 cylinder does it work??? Also where do i get adjustment?? just an the set screw somebody help!!!

Well it is not running quite right i thought i would check timing cant be that tough it wont stay running on a idle.<br /><br />also will a regular timing light work??
