Ok so here are my two choices that I see me having to get myself a kill switch... Keep in mind Im a rookie with these old motors. One... I found a new choke solenoid with plunger and spring but its $230.00 Option Two... I dont know really how hard or time consuming getting to the magneto is but once there run two wires from the points and wire me a kill switch that way. Can the simplex pull start portion be pulled off all together? Ive been told the spring tension is high and to not tear it apart unless you are familiar?? I'm just trying to weigh options to ultimately have a kill switch rather than manual choke. I have my Ken Cook service and owners manuals but just want thoughts before I delve into the ol gal. Any thoughts for be fantastic, thank you!!
