57 big twin kill switch

If I run a wire from center connection of vacumm cut-out switch to a toggle switch then to ground, would this work as a kill switch?

That would work for killing one cylinder. The correct way to run it is one wire from the center of the vacuum switch to a toggle, then the other black magneto wire (there are two, one for each set of points) to the other side of the toggle. The motor is killed when the two wires are shorted together and runs when they are not shorted together.
