I'm Recently Divorced and just relocated to Paso Robles (Lake Nacimento) from LA. Found an abandoned boat and adopted her! Just fell in love with the lines and saw potential! got all the paper work in my name and got to work taking her apart. Just as you'd expect the boat wasn't properly stored and their was about 6 inches of standing water in the bilge, so everything wood was completely rotten and need to be replaced. So far I have everything stripped down to bare glass and staring the process of rebuilding her from the ground up! Just to be thorough I'm adding another layer of fiberglass to the inside before i replace all the stringers and deck. got nothing but time on my side and I'm not expecting any miracles but hopefully will have her on the lake by this summer... Make sure you have the proper title & reg paperwork in order for the boat & trailer before you spend any time or money on the boat

Else, welcome to iboats. Best of luck w/ your project, it has the look to be a great little boat! Start scouring the craigslist ads for a junk boat w/ a good motor.

Just getting the boat was an ordeal in itself, I live in a gated community and the boat was located on private property, it took over a month of researching with the property owners, the DMV and Local police dept to find out the boat was indeed abandoned. I requested a lien sale with the CA DMV and all is well. Got the boat and trailer for a whopping 29$ registration fee. Also go a big "Thank You" from the property owners for getting rid of what they considered trash! hence "TRASH TO TREASURE!"

I have acquired the same boat and am trying to find what the seats are supposed to be , mine came with a van bench seat not attached.
