'59 Mark 6A Upper driveshaft housing, clamping screw and nut frozen.

Have soaked daily with PB Blaster, applied heat with propane torch to both philips head and nut, used impact screwdriver and hammer...no luck. Been a week now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My final thought is drill into space between end of nut and end of machine screw with narrow bit to break the bond?

Well, the clamping screw finally came loose. New situation is lower unit won't budge. I'm thinking the top of the drive shaft is stuck in the power head. When I bank on the waterpump housing, a lot of rusty pieces fall out of the exhaust opening. I'm certain there is lots of corrosion up in there. Anyway, I turned her on her head and tried to get as much pB Blaster on the drive shaft as possible. I'm hoping it will make its way to the spline and free her up?
