Hello all,i have a kohler 5e generator that has run fine all year but today i went to start it and it run 5 seconds and died.troublshooting...i have no gas entering cylinders.fuel pump working.i pulled anti diesel valve and had gas there.after applying 12 volts to valve it will arc but not pull rod in unless i help it.its bad.i thought if it pulls in to let gas in then if i file it down a little it should let gas on through but it did not run.what is behind the valve rod?is it stuck also not allowing gas past even though the rod is shorter now?i do have a manuel but it does not show what is there and i know i need a new valve.this is extremly difficult to get to so i was hoping i could clean/loosen up stuck "whatever" without pulling carb.sorry so long trying to be thuro in my question ....thanks in advance
