5HP SeaHorse, think the water pump is bad

I just picked up a small jonboat today. It has a 1965 5hp SeaHorse(LD-10S) on the back. Anyway, it supposedly ran good the last time it was out. It started on the second pull but i didn't see much water coming out where i assumed it should have been(I assume where the exhaust does with the multiple holes). Does the water come out on this motor where the exhaust does or down below farther? I know less than nothing about outboards. It was kind of a spittle of water. My neighbor who has a Mercury outboard said it seemed like there should be more water coming out. I looked for a water pump kit on here but only saw them for a 9hp and bigger. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Water will come out the exhaust housing midway up housing. May have to go to dealer for pump.

Yes that is where the water is coming out, its a bit of a spittle then sometimes will just run down the housing. This motor has no neutral?? The things you find out after the fact. I just dropped $75 on the repair manual, guess I better find some parts. Thanks for the reply.
