6 cylinder mercury, dont know what size motor it is

someone has given me a 6 cylinder mercury kiekhaefer motor. they believe it might be a 100hp. it runs great but I need to know what hp it is in order to keep the motor in good condition. Please help. the numbers I found on the motor on the left foot is.<br /><br />31933 10-b-1 which are the biggest numbers on it<br /><br />1440 1333 alcoa which is small numbers

Judah,I believe your motor is a 1971 model 110 hp.<br /> Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

cool. I have talked to a'lot of boat shops and even mercury and they can't give me an answer. how did you come up with answer. it's not that I dont believe you, I am just interested how you came up with the year. Is there a place in the internet where I can go to look this up also.
