6+ foot fuel line with 1989 40 hp yammy

Will this work? Can ya'll foresee any complications such as bubbles, suction, and pressure? Thanks for your time.

I have an 8 foot +, 5/16 inch line on my 1984 70 HP 2 stroke. It goes from a tank on the deck to below the deck and then back up to the engine. Works just fine.

No reason it won't work if connections are done properly so it can't suck air.
