Howdy, Big Bob. Let's first be sure you are doing things right. Fresh, alcohol-free, unleaded regular (87 octane) gas mixed at 50:1 with TC-W3 rated outboard oil.
1. Open vent on fuel tank cap.
2. Pump primer bulb until it is firm (fills fuel pump and carb bowl).
3. Place throttle in "Start" position.
4. Close choke.
5. Pull. As soon as she starts move choke to warm-up (half choke). When revs drop, open choke.

If this procedure doesn't start her up, you need to overhaul your carb and get blockages out of the jets, etc. There is some chance that you also have fuel restrictions in the lines and fuel pump.

Good luck and let us know what happens.

Red sky at night. . .
JB
