60 degree 96 150 - removing the lower unit

I'm removing my lower unit. and i understand there is a hidden bolt somewheres on the top end.. Does anyone have a picture to help me find the right one?


other then that.. just remove the bolts from the lower unit and it should fall right out? right?



Also does anyone know the torque spec for securing the motor to the transom of my fiberglass boat? or is this a "pretty f'n tight" operation?

Justin, You need to release the shift rod before removing the LU. On my '98 Johnny, there is a clip under the lower starboard carb. You pull the clip and slide the linkage sideways to release the shift rod.
