What would cause the voltage regulator to burn up? The regulator has a quarter size hole burned through the left hand side near the mounting bolt hole. It is a 1995 serial number 0g238393 and the model number is 7060412d
Disconnecting the battery cables or turning off the battery switch while running come to mind. Or just plain ole really dirty cable ends and battery posts.Don't neglect your battery or it will cost you.
