That would be the low oil alarm.Make sure you have oil in tank...or,I have a 60 hp on a fisher pontoon that done the same thing.I replaced the warning module & the sensor in the oil tank which didnt help.It ended up being the float in the oil tank which is not replacable. You will have to buy a new tank.I just unplugged the sensor to the tank, but have to keep an eye on the oil so it dont run out.If you have a manual it tells you how to check the module & sensor to eliminate them, but my money is o the float.I hear a lot of them have to be replaced, which eventually I will too so I wont have to keep a close eye on mine.

to check the float take the oil tank loose & hold it upside down with the sensor plugged in & see if the beeping stops

Re: 60 hp merc 1995 tracker Pontoon

riverbel,

im new to the boating scene and just purchased a 94 tracker with a 60 hp mercury oil injected. im expiercing a piercing constant beep at random nothing seems to make it quit except to turn the ignition off. it has oil! could it be a stuck float like you had mentioned? the only difference is aconstant beep and not a beep beep beep! and is very random can happen 5 times in 20 mins and not happen again for 45 mins!

Thanks in advance!
