Help. My motor runs fine and gets great fuel economy, but it won't idle correctly. I have done all the ususal. Carbs were professionly rebuilt and synced. I have checked compression and gotten 110 across all 3 cylinders. Replaced plugs, wires, boots. Ohmed out all electrical componets. New fuel. Decarbed the motor. Checked fuel system from end to end. Still can<br />t get it to start and idle correctly. Got aggravated with it today and loosened the adjustment srew at the pivot arm and pushed it against the plastic cam actuator and tightened it down. Restarted and now it doesn't die when idling. It has good power. Was at 5900 with 4 people onboard running at 36MPH. I'm sure it must be something to do with the linkage adjustments and such. I have the manual but for setting the carbs It loses me. Should I bring it in to do this "sync and link" or can I do this myself?
