My son has one, and we thought the coil went out, wasnt getting fire out of top coil. Bought one from the dealer put it on, work for about 10seconds. Called the dealer, and he said might be wrong coil, said that on this model they made one out of the three coils different. He said he maybe gave us the wrong one, so went back and got another one, put it on, and ran for about 30 seconds. and quit. The dealer supposedly matched up the numbers for the motor. My son said something about a switch might be out, but I ask him, if that would effect just one cylinder,or all 3, not sure? Before we did all this we did put in brand new plugs...the year of it is about an 02 motor...Going to check fire again on everything when I get back out to the lake.....Are you suppose to change all 3 coils when changing them? Could it be the switch that is bad? Open for suggestions.....thanks....
