I have a 2002 Merc 60 hp, 4 stroke, carburated.
It sat for a long time, had carbs rebuilt.
Starts fine, idles fine. The first full throttle start has to be babied (play with the throttle or it will die).
Even after running a long time, there are flat spots in the throttle range that will cause the motor to run rough. A liittle more or less throttle, it will run smoothly.
Full throttle operation is good. Gas mileage execellent.
Maybe needs a carb cleaner squirted through the carb throats or a gas additive? I am new to 4-stroke, don't know where to go with this.
