Can you bench test the coil on this engine? If so is it just a matter of seeing if it has continuity between the 2 leads and the hopefully not from either winding lead to the iron core? Thanks
If you check from either lead to the core and get a reading that means it's grounded internally. Also check between one of the wires and the high tension side for continuity.
