'61, '62 lower unit interchange

I was wondering if the lower unit off of a 75HP '61 evinrude are interchangeable with the lower unit from a 75HP '62. I have a '61 and I found one that is for a '62. The model number for the '61 is 50927 Serial is 07376, the model number for the '62 is V4S-14B serial 2196856. Any help on wether these will interchange would be greatly appreciated.

I am almost a 100% sure they will interchange. I will look this up an let you know tomorrow.

I think Alcan is correct. I can't imagine the lower units being different in that old of motor. They just went with what worked back then and didn't mess with trying to improve on a good thing, at the time...
