Re: 6100 RPM

The 6100 looks good for wot rpms .However,I'm betting you could use the 13 1/4 X 17 and play with your setup to keep your wot rpms near 6000 an gain some top end as well.

What lenghth and style boat is this 70 pushing? What is the engines year model or model number?Where is the engines anti-ventilation plate height in relation to the bottom of the boats hull at transom when trimmed level?Lastly ,what brand prop are you currently running and is it stainless or aluminum?

You'd like to have the engine mounted as high as possible without experiencing excessive prop ventilation when executing a tight turn at 2/3 throttle on plane. This allows for the least amount of drag and exhaust back pressure.
