XD50 or XD100, the two best oils BRP makes/markets, are not TCW-3 certified(I was looking on the label for it but didn't see it. I am sure someone will point out if I'm wrong), but I wouldn't hesitate 1/100 of a second over using it, as they were made for the DI engines they will far exceed the spec. The XD100(full synthetic) at my dealer is only $8(can) per gal more than the XD50

Well sure. But he didn't say what kind of synthetic oil he was considering. Sure wouldn't want him pouring synthetic car oil in it.

Good point. Wouldn't be the first time. I do enjoy those who insist on finding Non-detergent SAE30, cause that's what the 60yr old gastank/owners manual says:facepalm:
