62 Niagara Custom & my new MFG pennant

Here are a few pictures of my boat and my new MFG pennant. Woosterken, thank you for your help in finding the web site which custom made the pennant for $32. I had other quotes in upwards of $60 which was way too much. In case anyone is interested the site is www.vintageboatsupply.com. Now if I can fix the transom I can get her in the water.

Hi rsp95 beautyfull boat there ! Mine has the same steering wheel -I'd like some better picts to help me restore mine , when you get some freetime .
She'll be a reel looker when the transom is done . peter

Thank you for the kind words on my little baby. She's been a labor of love and I want to do the best job I can to restore her. I'm not highly skilled in this department nor am I a wealthy man so she will never look brand new. I wish. As long as she's clean and seaworthy, I'm happy.

Let me know what you want me to take a picture of and I'll do it as quickly as possible.

Thank you guys for the compliments. Coming from this crew, it means a lot.

Mark, a couple of weeks ago my family and I went on vacation in Burlington. We stayed at a friends lake camp located on Mallets Bay. Have you ever fished that area? We will go back next year and maybe you can share with me some of your fishing tips.

I have fished other areas in Champlain and launched from Mallets Bay before, but never fished there. Through the sandbar to the Inland Sea is one area I have fished. Niagaras do fine on Champlain if the wind is right or not blowing. I'd rather be in my 14' Niagara than in some of those 13' whalers on Champlain!

Thanks. I missed that in the first post. Here's my MFG Northeastern Hardtop Deluxe. Just got her about 2 weeks ago. Been busy on the "no money needed" end of the restoration and just getting my thread together.

Just read the review, I think I did good with my purchase. The Northeast did really well with it's review. I think I'll post that on my thread. Cant wait to restore that hardtop, It's been warped pretty serious from all the years of snow and leaves sitting on her. Makes me wonder how many are still around.

My father and I have recently bought a 62 Niagara Custom and we are going to restore it and could really use some more pictures of yours! Our boat is missing a lot of the parts and we could really use some pictures to show us exactly what we are missing and where certain things are supposed to go. Really looking forward to hear from ya!
