I don’t have anybody around me that can machine anything like that, mine is wore out and running rich. Yes, you can bore/hone them out a few thousands over. That will be my next step I’m taking here shortly if I don’t come up with a replacement part. It’s not an easy task at all, I have looked into it and if you don’t get them right with a smooth hone or bore they will not run worth a crap

It is the original jet that came with it in 1986. After rebuilding the carburetor and going through the motor professionally, getting up on a plane and shooting out of the hole is fine, but struggles to stay wide open and not running 5500 RPMs after everything has been tuned up. The timing has been advanced to where it needs to be. The jet was the last thing to look at after everything else has been replaced. The gentleman that has worked on small outboard motors for over 40 years has extensive knowledge of the situation and has told me he has had many of them over the years that had the issue of the Jets being worn out over time. Fuel has worn mine down since it is the original and hasn’t been replaced. Plugs are wet after leaning the motor down as far as I can. Still too much fuel getting in and drowning it down, causing HP loss.

I agree the jet is not the issue. Can you not message the ebay seller for more info? The size will be stamped on the jet.
