Wow makes my 21 foot chieftain look shame full with a 140hp I/O, I have a top speed of 28 mph GPS, this is with 4 POB's loaded with fishing gear and spare kicker motor, about 35 gallons of fuel.
I think that is the fastest cuddy cabin starcraft I hav seen.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmm Right. 150 HP, 65 mph-----Better check that GPS .I have a very healthy 200 0n my 22 Holiday and theres no way its going to go 65 mph. Ypu must have a real speed prop. at what RPM are you going at that speed ??? And what size and pitch is the prop??

I am a lttle skeptical too...I had a 16 foot Sea Ray with a 110 two stroke Merc that would go 52 fully trimmed with one person, speed prop, no gas in the tank, downwind, downhill with a rolling start. To get to 65 from that speed....involves quite a bit more power.

65 is freakin' fast!

I dont make the news, I just report it. :D I have no idea about any of that, he did use all aluminum rather than wood, so maybe it lightened it up alot? All I know is that old cruiser is cruising.

Kev. Im not to happy with the Rustolium Paint myself, it did not harden well. However it never got warm here and stayed thet way. Feels soft on my 16 ss restro which I just put back on the trailer today. Did all the paint come off your hull or just patches of it? If there is ever another time its off to the paint shop.

Sorry for the Hijack..

But I LOVE my rusto paint job..I havent lost any from my paint..But I painted it last summer..in 102 plus heat and the overnight "lows" of 85 degrees..
Pretty sure my driveway was one big paint booth/oven
