Hi Joe. Welcome to iboats. There are two things to check on your prop. The first is to see if it uses a brass "shear pin" which is designed to break/shear when the prop hits a submerged object in order to save the gears, or if it has a stainless steel "drive pin" which does not fail by design. Instead, the prop itself is fitted with a rubber hub which will fail in the event of a collision. While it's easy to simply swap out a new shear pin for one that has failed, re-hubbing is a job that requires special tool. Most boat repair shops offer the service for about $40. If you post the hp rating of your motor we can post a parts catalog for you too look up the piece(s) you need.
