64 merc 650 bog down at full throttle

I just rebuilt the carbs on my 64 merc 650 but now it bogs down at full throttle. I think that it is also not opening up all the way. (in full throttle) When I un plug the gas to let it run out, right before it kills it takes off i get high rpms and alot more power. I have never owend a boat before so i have know idea if that is normal or if i still have a problem with something.

Hi Klint<br /> Most of the time this bogging deal is due to lack of fuel. Carbs not synced, floats not adjusted correctly, bad fuel pump, bad fuel line connectors, air leaks or just some crud plugging the system.
