I bought a '64 Scout 80, 8 years ago for $1.00, I use it as a plow truck at my office. Today while plowing it just stopped moving.
There's a bunch of black shavings or strips underneath the vehicle. It almost looks like belt material. I'm pretty sure the clutch has burnt up.
It's not road worthy, rusted shell, resting on 2x4s on the frame. Have to jump start it all the time, regulator is shot.
So now I have to figure out if I want to fix the clutch or move the plow to my '62 Land Rover. Either that or find another old plow truck. Have to find a way to move the 4' drifts quick.
