I was given a 1965 Evinrude 9.9 Model # 10522c , it's in pretty good shape.
I had the carb rebuilt because it was running crap and now it will run and idle but when I open it up full throttle it's struggleing and going through alot of fuel.
I rinced the fuel can out and the emptied the line and put new fuel in, I recleaned the carb, checked the fuel filter and pump diaphrams all are good but I can't make it rev out the way she should be.
The spark is good and blue and has new plugs in it, it's like it gets to the point where it should be advancing but doesn't.
The motor has been used ever year and well taken care of before I got it and serviced by a marina, but I would like to fix as to taking it in.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem might be I would really appreciate some advise.
Thanks very much.
