Is $6500. a good price for a 1987 Campion fishing machine? The motor is a 175 Merc outboard also 1987....900hrs though which kinda scares me, he says it was recently serviced top and bottom. And there is a soft spot on the floor under the passenger seat. Comes with a galvanized dual axle ez loader.
Your thoughts...

I agree, especially if it's a single outboard.

you can buy that motor all day long for under 2,000 on ebay, 300 for a trailer, 300 for a rotten hull. overpriced yes.

ok, I figured It might not be bad since I've seen them go for around $20,000. But probably in better shape and newer motor.

I have to agree, it is overpriced. I thing, if memory serves me right, the Campion boats back then were built in the U.S., the company has since moved to B.C. Canada.
I had friend who "had" one, the stringers rotted out.

I didn't know campion used to be based in the US. I live in BC Canada, and I have an older campion (I'm guessing early eighties, the coastgaurd plate is missing) I'm fairly happy with it..it seems like a pretty solid boat.
