I just bought a 93 kawasaki 650sx about 2 weeks ago and it has run great untill now... It won't start, it turns over fine and everything. We poured gas directly into the cylinders and didnt get anything, new plugs that have good spark too. I'm guessing that its something with ignition then? I'm not sure though so tell me what u think. Thanks.

I'm not sure, we were gonna check it but i couldn't find the gauge, I'll probobly go buy a new today. What is the compression suposed to be on a bone stock ski, somewhere around 130 im guessing??

Re: 650sx troubles

ok, still workin on the compression tester, but a few minutes ago i tryed to start it again and now if i hold down the starter it will sound exactly like its idling for as long as i hold down the starter. I tryed to feather the throttle a little and the best i could do was to get it to run for about 5 seconds after i let go of the start button, so now im not sure whats up with it. Anyone have an idea?
