65ESL 72S Manual

Which manual do i Need for a 65ESL 72S? I found an Version online in a PDF format that says it covers 1958-1972 models, but when I look at the ignition section, it has the 65HP as a V4 and not a 3 cylinder model.

Any help is appreciated!

Can't answer about the PDF you saw, except to say yes there were 65hp V4 motors made during that time period, as well as your 3-cyl model. Totally different, of course.

We might add that your 1972 was a bit of an one-year oddity in that it had MagCD ignition AND Hydro-Electric Shift, and took a special electric cable. Better stick with the model-specific OEM manual (Ken Cook).

Thanks man. Im having no spark issues and the couple youtube vidoes i saw point to the Stator, but would love to walk through the trouble shooting in the manual to be certain.
