65hp Evinrude stall question

Hello Boaters,
Looking for some help. I have a 1973 Evinrude 65 hp motor that was recently tuned up. It runs great except for low idle, where it seems to stall quite a bit. I was wondering if there is any adjustment that can be made to help with this issue?

Well, what RPM are you idling at?

It doesn't have a tachometer.

There are adjustments but you'd have to get that out of a factory service manual in the sync & link procedure.

After taking the boat fishing last night I realized that my explanation above is not exactly what my issue is. Trolling for the first time with it my issue is stalling at low speeds. If I put it in neutral it'll idle fine, but when i try to troll at low speeds it will stall. When that happens it needs to be choked and have the Rev lever (sorry not sure of the actual name for it) raised up to start again. I needed to troll at what I thought was a little bit faster speed than I wanted to to keep it running. Sorry for the confusion.
