I pray someone can help! I have a 66 Mercury Aztec with a V-6 Mercruiser 165 h.p. motot #on motor is 4188519(hope that's the right 1).# on out drive is C1902716.O.K. , my ? is does anyone have a part # or even a picture for the trim motor,I bought the boat with out one, now can't find one.Everything works great ,pulls 2 tubers wonderful! but would love to get trim parts working. Thanks

Donna, usually the trim motor is inside the boat, mounted on the transom and wired through the throttle controls. <br />First you should try to identify your outdrive model. look at this site and compare to your drive.<br /> http://www.mercstuff.com/drive_id.htm <br />If you have the outdrive thats of the same year it should be the "R" or pre alpha which has a lifting ring on the very top of the drive.

Hello, as far as I can tell it is a Pre-Alpha.I was told the maker went out of bussiness 15 yrs. ago,I'm having a hard time find one used with out knowing a # or what it looks like. Thanks!

it is in the back to the left or right of the motor. it could look like a cylinder with a small tank attached. there will be hoses attached to the pump and electrical wires around it. there will be one or two round solenoids with wires attached also. you can do a search for mercury online parts and maybe see one. i did not see one in this websites store. try shadconnection.com and look under trim and tilt motors. they are not cheap.
