HI All-

The boys have deserted me, so my boat an I are quietly spending quality time

together in the garage.

Can only work as weather permits here. I don't like being cold!

Sanding and patching - getting ready for a little paint.

Working on restoring some of the old chrome pieces.

This spot light is vintage awesome.

Gonna pull it apart and re-chrome.

Pulling all the electrical and re-wiring.

Taking my time so it is done right the first time.

Rapunzel - minus the boys.

Welcome to iBoats from a Fellow OKIE!!!

Where bouts you from??? Take care with the windshield. IT's Priceless!!! Open a free Photobucket account and load your pics to it and then use the IMG Code to copy and paste your pics to iBoats. Lot's easier that way. Pics load in full size that way. Love your boat. Will be anxious to see how it goes. Let me know if I can help in any way!!!

Great bling to work with. Send that cool bow light along if you are springing for chrome. What vintage/ size/model Evinrude or Johnson as I noticed the electrical box? Tell us about it.

Re: 66 Duo-Craft Restore

Since you asked-- LOL
She is a RDE-19 1957 Johnson 35HP Sea Horse.
She has the electrical of the 58.
She has not ran for 12 years and was full of water when I got her.
The lower drain hole was plugged with debris.
Got motor running at the end of last summer.. YAY.. Thank you I-Boats peeps.
Since she was full of water, I want to check all electrical and make all new connections and replace what is bad/broken or corroded.
I was very surprised when I opened the box that it wasn't worse.
Having a blast here working on her.
