Spending time on the water & running very well but lol always a but. Boat goes into forward fine when cold but after warming up & shut off it dies frequently trying to put into forward...wondering if it may be a timing issue or possibly points .had the carb rebuilt so I don't think thats it but maybe..Thanks

Ayuh,... I'd sooner think the lower shift cable is on it's way out....

Watch the V-block on the shift plate, 'n see if it's movin' when ya shift into gear...

Just replaced the lower shift cable & it may still need some adjustments. It really doesn't seem to bog the motor but rather just shuts off. Sometimes works fairly well others it just shuts off especially after warm up.
Also I think I still have carb issues because at very low speeds it acts as if it is running out of gas, give it some gas & runs great. Thanks
