hello i am new to outboards. i have been reconnecting wires on this motor from a mouse doing its thing. have all done and running but motor gets hot very fast (can't hold hand on head after 1 min or so) have muffs on. ? there are 2 wires that go to the thermo switch, i have no reference on diagram or color to tell me whats what, and i don"t know exactly what this switch does. can i just switch them (change the way i have them connected now?) could i have fried switch if i connected them wrong? just thought about this before i start on impeller and pump etc. thanks for your help
