I'm curious if only leaky spark plug wires could cause this condition, or would it take something more typically, like carb rebuild(s) too? With the engine started at night in my driveway, I see lots of arcing between the wires and the block. Adjusting the slow speed mixture screws don't seem to make any difference.
The plan is to definitely replace the wires. Could that alone potentially fix the issue?
