Found out that I broke my shift lever and the piece that it attaches to. Talked to a guy today and he told me I have to take apart the entire power head to replace the piece that the shift lever attaches to. I'm looking at over $400 to get it fixed or $140 in parts plus a manual to do it myself. Couple questions, as redneck as it sounds, would JB weld work? If not, am I looking at an impossible project? Part #'s are 379523 and 383015. Thanks

it's a job, but doable, you need to find the parts first. try tcoutboard.com
