Only 100 of these produced would like to do it back original. I'm a bit of a purist doing automotive restoration. BUT, another school of thought is "put a bracket on it with a nice 170 outboard " and get it wet. Needs everything. I Can do all the glass and refinish. This is equipped with the 470 4 cylinder. What are the pros and cons of keeping that original Engine Versus an outboard

The 470 is no longer made and many had their own issues. I would not fix the 470, just get something else. You did say you want to go back original though
