>Have you checked for voltage at the solenoid wires while operating?
>have you powered the solenoids manually while running?
>Are you using the proper oil in the leg?
*You must separate the electrical portion from the mechanical mechanism for troubleshooting....

>the trim/tilt wants OMC TnT oil (dextronIII)

For parts, go to your neighborhood NAPA. They carry the Sierra line which has most user parts. The lower unit parts may be harder to find. Saylers supply in Edmonton have tons of old motors.

So.........Did you check for voltage at the solenoid leads while running? (very crutial question) There are several weak links in that systems electrical shift.....

Bone Yard

The leg requires type "C" gear oil (Canadian tire has it)

Don't do anything till you check for voltage to the solenoid wires. You should have:

>no power to leads = forward
>power to green = neutral
>power to green+blue = reverse
:)
