Hello, been awile since I've been on here but line the site and the info it offers! I have a69 Johnson 115 that was given to me, I like old school stuff so it fit right in, any easy I've been dealing with a not wanting to rev up issue, I have cleaned the carbs several times with no change and put a new fuel pump on being the old one leaked, tonight I got it the timing light and was checking timing, at idle it is around 5deg, wide open against the stop it is at 60deg, it has a after market CDI box, I made marks on the flywheel and all cylinders show the same, any ideas why? I looked at my Evinrude 50 at how far the timing plate moves and the 115 moved alot more, I put in a different stop a limited it to 28deg, I haven't had it running yet to see what it does, any info or ideas would be great!
