69 Johnson 20HP Front Bearing Help

I pulled my LU apart today and replaced the clutch dog (69 Johnson 20HP). I didn't take note of which way the front bearing was installed before i removed it and I can't find any info on it. The bearing has an indication mark on the outer edge, and a groove opposite the indication mark on the machined surface. I looked on johnsons website but the diagram is not detailed enough to show me which way to reinstall the bushing/bearing. Please help! im supposed to go boating tomorrow!

There is a pin in the upper part of the gearcase that has to align with a groove in the bearing.
