well this motor ran 3 yrs ago when i stopped using it and desided to sell the motor , so i dipped the carb and cleaned it all out , put it back on , re roped the pull rope ,"would love to have the elec starter for this engine " and hooked it up to the fuel tank with fresh gas and oil mix , and pulled on it bout 20 times , and not even a sputter , so im like WTF .

so i pull a plug and ground it out and have someone pull it while i whatch for a spark no spark , from top or bottom cylinder ,plugs are new , no chafing on the wires or plug wires , kill switch is not hooked up

pulled flywheel to check points and one of the points is gapped a lil farther then the other but both sets are in good shape"does any one know what the points gap is supposed to be"

also is still has the original phelon condensor's . i just got some new ones today from napa , just havent installed them yet , can anyone please help, this has got me stumped , and i always can figure out the worst problems
a manual would be nice
thanks chris ,

im here in south west ,fl , heck i would buy the beer is someone would help lol

any help would greatly appreceated .

also on a side note , if u cant get a gasket that seals the fuel filter housing i found that a garden hose rubber gasket works perfectly for this engine:cool:

well i cleaned the points and set them at .020 and i got spark on the bottom cyl but the top cyl seems weak , it tries to start but pops like the timing is way off
