6hp chrysler

Need some basic help with this motor.

Model.# 63HG
Ser # 43335

I'm assumeing this is a 1963 model.???

1. What is the plug gap?
2. Is oil mix 50:1?
3. How do you gain clearance necessary to remove the carburator?

From what I can tell ,it looks to be a 1975 model, looking it up on my chart,50:1 fuel oil ratio, and I'll have to look some more on the plug, but guessing I would say .025. would be a safe start until I can find more info. Can you post a picture of the carb area? That might help

I'm glad to see some help because I tried to fine the info but my CD is not friendly. I did assume 50:1 fuel ratio and .030 plug gap w/o good direct info. I agree a pic or some pics will be needed to try and help with the Carb.

I printed my Table Of Contents from the PDF Power CD and a number of pages with general info and charts to try to find info faster. Plus, I learned the info is not designed to cut and paste vs printing. I am still open to ideas on using the CD faster. Good Luck To All!!

OK, I found that if I shift the motor to reverse the carburator will clear enough to get it out. I'm still not sure on the plug gap but it seams to run fine on .030 thanks for everyones input.

It's good you have maid some progress. I would still like to see Pics of your engine if you have time. I have a 35 HP Chrysler and would like to see what the smaller engine looks like. I relate my 35HP ignition system with older Tecumseh (? spelling) engines on lawn mowes. Attached are 2 of my maintenance attachments that were not too large. Take Care!
