I know I don't have SBN's 35 years yet but.....

Tomorrow is our 6 year wedding anniversary. It's amazing how time flies when your having fun.

Over these six years The Admiral stood by me while I went to Night school and received My Bachelors Degree, We had the little Commodore, Bought the house and moved twice before that. We've had good and bad times, She lost her Father, Grand-mother, and Brother but stills remains strong. But I would not trade any of it away it has tested our relationship and survived.

Although we will see how it works out when she backs the boat down the ramp the first time. ;) :D

Wish we could go someplace tomorrow but have family obligations.... Will be going out tonight though so not that bad. :)

Re: 6th Anniversary

Jgregory, glad to hear it, Personally my wife only drives forward w/ a trailer. I look like a monkey out there at times but what is peace of mind worth. My son is 14 now and he can do just about everything I need him to do

Re: 6th Anniversary

Congrats Jgregory!

Marriage is any easy commitment for those that give and take wtih forgiveness and careing. Time does fly by when things go well.

My wife and I just celebrated our 6th this past July. I'm her forth husband and she is my 4th wife. We never fight but may argue on some things, but that is mostly over our offspring.

Her previous husbands, some beat her, some told her she was dumb, and one threatend to kill her. Since she has been with me, she finally has her high school diploma, and has finished her first year of college. She is a very smart lady. I'm very proud of her. She made the deans list and was nominated into a serority(sp). Her ex's hate me because I support her instead of controlling her.

To me that is the one thing that can destroy a marriage is control. If the love and trust is there, control is not neccessary.

Sounds to me you and your wife have what it takes to stay together. Thats the main ingrident to successfully raise your children. Kids must have a mom and dad under one roof.

If you must argue with your wife, just don't do it when the little one is around. This can be tramatic to the child as you probably already know.

God Bless you two and many more happy years to come.... :D ......SS
