7.5 hp sea king new to i Boats

Just spent the best $150 of my life on a 84 7.5 hp sea king which i believe is made by chrysler


Model number vwb52179e

I was wondering if someone hear could tell me the fuel/oil mix and the lower unit gear oil type

Fuel oil mix is 48:1 (50:1 with a smidge extra).
Gear oil is any TWC-3 (Wal Mart $4.98 qt. Pennzoil) or similar.
Fish weren't biting, so I rushed home to answer your question.

Gear oil is NOT tcw-3 It's any good 80-90 weight gear oil.J

You are absolutely correct. What was I thinking?
TWC-3 is gasoline oil...
I better get me a couple beers...my head ain't on straight.
