Recently my boat started skipping. It idles good, but once the RPM's start to rise, it skips. Repair man said the rectifier and stator were both bad "after" he had rebuilt the carbs for $100. I replaced the Gas Lines and Primer bulb, changed the bad Rectifier, and replaced the Fuel Pump. I connected a timing light to both sides of the coils and could see that it would skip on all 3 plug wires and incoming leads to the coils. I am pretty sure the Stator Ohms out good, what next. Power Pack?
