70 hp Evinrude Carb - Where is idle needle valve?

1980 70HP Evinrude - Can't find any idle mixture adjustment on 3 carbs. Runs rough at idle, then stops. Engine model is E70ELCSA. rushpump@juno.com

Welcome!<br /><br />Those carbs have fixed jets. If its idling rough, it may be time for a good cleaning and new OE kits. If the low speed jets/circuits are gummed up the high spedds may be too. Dont want to lean it out. Pistons dont like that.<br /><br />Good luck!

Welcome to the forum Rush, you might just try setting the idle up a little might solve your problem.
