70 hp evinrude rebuild

hello i have a 1975 glastron with a 70 hp evinrude the same year the boat runs good but the compression in the cylinders is starting to show its age ...iam trying to decide what to do with motor either rebuild the top end or find another motor the boat is in good shape for its age still use it about 4 days a month ..6 months a year i want to restore the old glastron but not sure on the motor ... any ideas?

If your planning on keep the boat,I would rebuild. The reason would be you might buy someone else problems. No telling what the problem could be and might be costly and then you back at square one.
