70 hp. evinrude stalls on acceleration

Two years ago I had same problem and my mechanic<br />installed carb kits. Worked great till this year.<br />Smokes like crazy on start up but revs great. As soon as you give full power it stalls. Plugs are new but wet. Fuel mix.50-1. Use boat for cruising<br />and it does not get a good workout very often. Is it something I can remedy or do I need new kits again.Mod# E7OTLCNB. Are you using fuel stabilzer in between runs. Sounds like it sits for a good period of time before you use it. Could be gas is going sour as it sits. You may have to pull carbs again and clean! It may be the floats are sticking, causing it to run rich.

What year model is motor? carb adjustments ,idle mix , and linkage set ups are different for different years.
